Tom Bakowski - Wins The Rottnest Marathon with another PB!

Congratulations to Tom for winning the Rottnest Marathon in a time of 2hr50min on 19th October.

Tom achieved a 14 minute PB in the Perth Marathon, and then another 3 minute PB in The Rottnest race. Tom has included regular altitude training in his training schedule as part of his build up to Ironman WA

and is now reaping the benefits.

Marinela Antonic:

Congratulations to Marinela on winning the 2008 Grass Court Championships Tennis Tournament at Robertson Park.

The Crocodile Trophy:

Jo and Tim Bennett are currently participating in the Crocodile Trophy - One of the hardest mountain bike adventure races in the world! Good luck guys!

Mike Gee: City to Surf:

Congratulations to Mike who participated in the City to Surf Half Marathon. Finishing the race in a PB time of 1:14:37- 8th Place overall.

Tom Bakowski:

Tom won the Collie to Donnybrook cycle road race. A huge achievement given that Tom is Triathlete!

Eamon Sullivan:

Congratulations to Eamon for his achievements at the Olympics. Eamon spent many hours training and resting at altitude with Altitude Plus as part of his preparation for the games.

Trans Rockies Mountain Bike Race:

Altitude Plus clients Raymond Lampard and Steve Fraser went to Canada on an epic adventure, participating in the Trans Rockies race. A 7-day mountain bike stage race. 550km and approx 16000m of climbing. Unfortunately injury mean't that they had to withdraw from the race. Congratulations to John on finishing in 14th place in the Solo Elite Male category, great achievement. Turner's Hill Mountain Bike Race - 27th July:

Congratulations to Tim Bennett - 1st Place Elite Men, Jo Bennett - 1st Place Elite Women, Raymond Lampard - 6th Place Expert Men, Steve Fraser - 7th Place Masters Men, Melanie Webb - 1st Place Expert Women.

Other News:

Congratulations to Jo & Tim Bennett who both raced in the BC Bike Race - 7 day mtb stage race.

Tim finished 3rd Place overall (Open Men) and Jo finished 7th Place overall in the mixed team category.

Davina Summers is in the US riding a series of races. She just finished the Cascade Cycling Classic race. Finishing in 18th overall and 1st in her new team! The race is the longest consecutively run elite stage race in the US and has attracted most of North America's top cyclists and teams over the years.

John Waddell is on his way to Canada to participate in the World 24 hours of adrenalin solo MTB race. Check out the race at www. 24hoursofadrenalin.com. With a  broken thumb to keep him company following an altercation with a car 3 days before his departure. Best of luck Johnny.
