Michael Snart and Joshua Court who have been coached by Andrew Ivey for their strength and conditioning, recently won their Australian Beach Volleyball Title in Adelaide. CONGRATULATIONS.

IRONMAN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
5th:
Elite Sportz womens team consisting of
swimmer, Jennifer Mullins 53min 53sec, cyclist Alana Pollard 5hr 51min 34sec and runner Sally Read 3hr 24min 11sec won the womens team division in a time of 10hrs 9mins.
 
Tom Bakowski competing in the 25-29yo age group finished in a time of 9hrs 4mins. Tom came 1st in his age group and 15th overall which has qualified him for the Hawaiin Ironman 2010.
 
OCTOBER
VICTORIAN STATE ROAD RACE
25th:
OUTSTANDING. Davina Summers won the'Queen of the Mountain' and placed second overall, just beaten in a sprint finish in the recent Victorian State Road Race.
MAX's NABBA Australian Championships
11th:

ANB Central Coast Championships, Gosford
11th:
In only her third Novice Competition Jo Lammey, Elitesportz Online Figure Competitor placed 3rd in the ANB Central Coast Championships Novice Figure Titles. Great Effort Jo.
IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS - HAWAII
10th:
Talk about a gruelling event! Consider swimming 3.8km followed by a 180km bike finishing off with a 42km (marathon) run, with no rests in between!!! Tom Bakowski completed the Hawaii Ironman in 10 hrs, 38mins and 19s, finishing 577th out of 1771 competitors. AWESOME Tom! Tom place 62nd out of 92 competitors for his age group.
SEPTEMBER
INBA NSW State Titles
26th:
In a strong line-up of nine competitors, Kim Dowling, Elitesportz Online Figure Competitor entered her 1st Novice Figure Competition. The blood and sweat of hard training and nutritional choices that Kim made, resulted in an OUSTANDING win.

IBIS KOH SAMUI TROPHY ADVENTURE RACE
19th:
Multisport and Elitesportz athlete Jason Hope and team mate Paul Verchere, aka 'TEAM TRI HARDS' finished 1st in the 1 day event of the Thailand Adventure Race Series. Destroying 59 other teams, these extreme athletes took part in biking in the mountains, woodland trails and off road running, sea kayaking and sea swimming. Team Tri Hard even had to 'hire' mountain bikes to compete in the event!

JULY
SWISS ALPINE MARATHON
25th:
 Romano and Yvonne Bernhard competed in the "Swiss Alpine Marathon", a 50mile running race through the glorious Swiss Alps.
It was their first Ultra Marathon and according to Romano made the Hawaii Ironman in 2008 seem like a, "Walk in the park'.
 The event was predominately on trails with one pass going up to 2600m altitude, some trails ventured over snow fields.
Romano: 8hrs, 5mins, 58secs
Yvonne: 8hrs, 56mins, 48secs.
INBA Australian All Female Classic
11th:
The Australian All Female Classic was held in Melbourne and produced a resounding success for the Elite Sportz team. All three competitors placed in their respective divisions and in doing so qualified for the 2009 INBA Australian Titles and the 2009 INBA Natural Olympia to be held on the Gold Coast in October.

Tom Bakowski completed the race with a PB of 15 minutes! 4th place in his Age Group (25-29 yrs) and claimed a Hawaii Ironman place Swim: 1:01:55 -Bike: 5:07:24- Run: 3:21:59. Total Time : 9:35:53
The Albany Classic Olympic Distance Triathlon 28th Feb
Kerrie Smith won her Age Group (30-34 yrs) in a time of 2hrs 12 mins.
Congratulations to Liz Stirton and Joel Toohey for a great race - Liz beat Husband Joel by 9 seconds so the challenge is set for Busso 1/2 Ironman in May!

Davina Summers just finished the Cascade Cycling Classic race in the US. Finishing in 18th overall and 1st in her new team! The race is the longest consecutively run elite stage race in the US and has attracted most of North America's top cyclists and teams over the years.
John Waddell participated in the World 24 hours of adrenalin solo MTB race in Canada. Check out the race at www. 24hoursofadrenalin.com. With a broken thumb to keep him company following an altercation with a car 3 days before his departure from Perth.
Rae Cattach won the INBA Australian All Female Muscle & Fitness Classic comp in Melbourne on the 12th July. In the Figure Intermediate class.
Shane Scott won the Perth Marathon on July 6th with a 4 minute PB.
Tom Bakowski ran the Perth Marathon on July 6th with a 14 minute PB!
Patrick Hollingworth made a successful summit of Denali. 6193 meters!
Marinella Antonic went to Europe in July 08 to play a series of tennis tournaments. Her trip took her to Belgium, Norway, Finland and back to Belgium.
